Entry requirements in Bulgaria

What do Greeks need to enter Bulgaria from Greece?
What certificates does a Greek need to travel to Bansko?

We are pleased to announce that as of 1 May 2022, the recent stricter measures concerning the entry of people from Greece to Bulgaria and vice versa have been lifted. All travellers arriving in the country, regardless of their country of origin, are no longer required to show a valid certificate of vaccination or recovery from COVID-19 or proof of a negative test result from a SARS- CoV-2 infection (PCR or Rapid Antigen test).

In addition, the requirement for visitors from all countries to complete the Passenger Locator Form (PLF) will no longer be mandatory from 15 March 2022.

However, a simplified PLF remains in operation, the completion of which is REQUIRED, for the sole purpose of enabling the traveller/family to be issued an EU Certificate of a negative or positive COVID-19 test result.

You can find out about current restrictions on travel to the country/region of destination on the following authoritative websites, as well as on the websites of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Embassies and Consulates of the countries of destination.
