Regulations to travel to Bansko

  • International hotel regulations state that you can collect your room after 14:00 to 15:00 (check in) and check out no later than 12:00 (check out).
  • The half board (dinner) prices listed in the price lists are only valid with a reservation at our office.
    The price may vary at the hotel reception.
  • Adults and children are required to travel with a new type of identity card in roman characters or a new type of passport. Under no circumstances shall the organiser or the partner agency be liable for failure to produce travel documents at the border check. Non-Greek document holders are responsible for crossing the border. Service ID cards are not a travel document (military, coastguards, firefighters).
  • Children under 18 years of age travelling with one parent need the other parent's certified consent. Children under the age of 18 travelling without their parents need certified consent from both parents.
  • Pre-bookings for specific seats on the coach are not accepted, except in cases related to health reasons. The seats are not numbered and the distances between seats are the standard ones for the vehicle category.
  • All passengers must be at the predetermined departure point at least 15 minutes before the departure time, be responsible for their timely boarding at the intermediate stations and have the mobile phone number of the tour guide in order to contact him/her in case of tardiness.
  • Each passenger can carry 1 suitcase and ski or snowboard equipment. The company reserves the right to refuse the carriage of a 2nd suitcase per person, depending on occupancy. The company is not responsible for loss of luggage or items on the coach.
  • According to the law governing coach transport, it is compulsory to stop for 25 - 45 minutes for every 4 hours of travel. Rest stops made during the journey are determined by law and are influenced by unpredictable factors such as traffic and weather conditions.
  • Mountain activities such as Ski, Snowboard, Sledding and Trekking are not covered by the office's accident insurance, which does not take any responsibility in case of injury during these activities. Insurance is provided only by private initiative of each traveler or by purchasing the ski lift card (the one that includes insurance).
  • Participation in the trip requires the reading - understanding and acceptance of the above, as well as the general terms of participation.

Our office suggests you to choose a short term travel insurance in cooperation with the Atlantic Union which covers you expenses such as, medical treatment during the trip, emergency return coverage and due to COVID-19 etc. as you will see below. The cost of the insurance starts from 15€ per person and must be paid at least 3 days before departure for your policy to be activated.
