The following General Terms and Conditions of Participation constitute an integral part of the execution of the organized trip, as well as information and any other recommendations given to you before you register for one of our organized trips. Participation in any organized trip of our tourist organization requires careful study of the program of the specific trip and implies the unconditional acceptance by the traveler/tourist of these General Terms and Conditions of Participation.

Any person over the age of 18 is eligible to register for one of our organized trips. If they are under 18 years of age, they must first obtain the consent of both guardians or those exercising parental authority. If requested, they must provide written consent with the signature of the parent/guardian certified as authentic (KEP/Police). Registration can be done either by visiting our company's offices or by mail (postal or electronic), by fax, or through our website at www.banskotheproject.gr. It is expressly clarified that in order to secure a place on a group trip, it is a prerequisite that the applicable deposit or the full amount of the trip has been paid, depending on the package, the unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions, and the receipt of a confirmation message from our office. The corresponding proof of payment must include the distinctive details of the trip in question (indicatively and not restrictively: destination, departure and return dates, etc.).Registrations are accepted before the scheduled departure of the trip, depending on the trip in question. It is expressly clarified that failure to pay the full amount of the respective trip fourteen (14) full days before the scheduled departure entitles the travel agency to cancel the participation. In this case, the deposit is non-refundable.
The value – price of each trip is listed in our current price list. It should be noted that prices may change due to changes in the cost of fares and surcharges, fuel costs, all types of taxes/fees, airport taxes, etc. It is understood that our office bears no responsibility for adjustments that may occur in accordance with the above. The traveler's refusal to pay the additional amount resulting from the above adjustments, which will be communicated to him, will result in the cancellation of his participation in the trip. In this case, any amount paid by the traveler up to that point will not be refunded. It is expressly clarified that our agency reserves the right—for a specific period of time or a specific number of seats—to sell seats at more favorable prices and with special cancellation terms. Any availability of seats at a price lower than the original price does not entitle other travelers to demand a corresponding discount or to cancel their participation. It is also expressly clarified that children's charges vary on a case-by-case basis, from free accommodation in hotels and ships to a small discount (usually for ages 2-12 and provided that they are accompanied by and pay for two adults).

Προς το σκοπό δε της πληρέστερης παροχής των υπηρεσιών του διατηρεί το δικαίωμα να αλλάζει ή να τροποποιεί το προκαθορισμένο πρόγραμμα της εκδρομής, όταν αυτό κρίνεται απαραίτητο, χωρίς προηγούμενη ενημέρωση. Ρητά διευκρινίζεται ότι το γραφείο δεν διαθέτει δικά του μεταφορικά μέσα (ενδεικτικά: αεροπλάνα, λεωφορεία, πλοία κλπ) ούτε καταλύματα (ενδεικτικά: δωμάτια, ξενοδοχεία κλπ) ώστε δεν ευθύνεται για την σωστή ή μη λειτουργία τους. Ομοίως, δεν ευθύνεται για ενέργειες ή/και παραλείψεις τρίτων προσώπων και των συνεργατών τους καθώς και για έκτακτες καταστάσεις, όπως ακυρώσεις, απεργίες, αλλαγές ή κατάργηση δρομολογίων των μεταφορικών μέσων, και εν γένει για κάθε κατάσταση ανωτέρας βίας ή τυχηρού γεγονότος (ενδεικτικά και όχι περιοριστικά ως τέτοια νοούνται: ατυχήματα, επιδημίες, τρομοκρατικές ενέργειες, τραπεζική αργία κλπ.).
Each traveler is required to comply fully with the terms of each program and the instructions of the tour guides and escorts. In addition, each traveler is responsible for providing and/or completing their personal details correctly, where required. In the event of an incorrect or false statement and/or completion, which will result in the traveler being unable to travel or being charged an additional amount by the airline or other company, then no responsibility lies with the agency. The traveler is solely responsible for arriving at the meeting and/or departure points on time. Any delay on the part of the traveler that results in the loss of the program does not entitle the traveler to a refund of part or all of the money paid. The customer must find a way to rejoin the rest of the group at their own expense. Furthermore, it is expressly clarified that if the traveler demonstrates inconsistency and/or violates the above, then the agency reserves the right to cancel their participation. In this case, the traveler is not entitled to request a refund of the money paid up to that point.
All travelers abroad—depending on their destination—are required to have a valid passport or a new type (with Latin characters) police ID card. Our office provides Greek citizens with all possible information regarding the necessary travel documents they are required to have. However, it is expressly clarified that each traveler is solely responsible for knowing what travel documents (ID card, passport, visas, etc.) of the country of which they are citizens and which are required for border crossing or during checks at airports, ports, etc. They are also responsible for having them in their possession throughout the trip and for presenting them whenever requested by the competent authorities. It is understood that in the event that, due to the fault of the traveler (lack or damage to travel documents, expiry of their validity, or failure to issue a visa) it is not possible for them to cross the border or pass through the controls of the competent authorities, then the traveler waives the right to continue the trip. Our agency bears no responsibility for refunds or other compensation to which the traveler may be entitled.
Up to 30 days before departure: refund of the deposit
From 29 to 15 days prior to departure: 30% cancellation fee
From 14 days prior to departure until departure (no-show): 100% of the total value of the trip
The traveler is obliged to comply with the instructions of the transport companies regarding weight, dimensions, and the number of bags allowed per traveler. Any non-compliance will result in additional charges that may arise. Luggage is transported at the responsibility and care of its owners, regardless of whether or not it is accompanied by representatives of our agency. In case of damage or loss, the respective conditions and regulations for each means of transport and for hotels apply. It is expressly clarified that our agency bears no responsibility for any damage and/or loss of luggage or its contents.
The traveler is obliged to inform himself in a timely manner by any appropriate means about the health regulations of each country as well as the vaccines and/or medications that he may need to obtain. In addition, they must comply with the updated protocols for the transfer and movement of passengers on public transport. Travelers with health problems should obtain their doctor's consent to travel by presenting the relevant medical certificate or a responsible statement that they can travel without endangering their own health or life or others. Our office bears no responsibility for illness, injury, loss of life, accident, or other health emergency during the trip. Furthermore, it is expressly clarified that our agency has no obligation to cover the relevant expenses and change the travel itinerary, which will continue smoothly.
The traveler agrees that the agency will use their info (keeping it in a database, according to the current laws on personal data, as amended and in force—for example, but not limited to, provisions of Law 4624/2019 "On the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data" and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679), in order to provide information about its products and services, as well as to provide information by telephone or text message (SMS) or email about new products and services. If the traveler wishes to confirm or modify the promotion of their data from the agency's database in the future, as well as in case they wish to revoke their consent, they may at any time and without any charge, inform the agency at the email address [email protected]In addition, if the traveler wishes to exercise their legal rights in accordance with the applicable legislation, i.e. – as indicatively and not restrictively mentioned – the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and objection—may at any time and at no charge inform the office at the email address [email protected].
Any dispute arising between our office and the respective traveler will be resolved in good faith. If this is not possible, then the Courts of Athens shall have jurisdiction.
